Are you committed to supporting the next generation of aspiring restoration ecologists? Then take advantage of this new opportunity to serve as a volunteer judge to review student posters and oral presentations during SER2023. Your valuable insights and feedback will help guide students in refining their research, communication, and presentation skills. Sign up today!

Judging will take place in-person during the conference in Darwin, Australia (26-30 September) and during the virtual component (7-8 November). Applicants may volunteer to serve as a judge during the in-person component, virtual component, or both. As a reminder, all registrations for the in-person component of the conference are inclusive of registration for the virtual component.

Judges will be expected to review at least four (4) presentations in Darwin or four (4) presentations virtually (final number to be determined based on total number of judges and total number of presentations to be judged).

SER strongly encourages non-student conference delegates to volunteer as judges – it is a meaningful and important way to further engage in the conference. As a judge at SER2023, you will not only help foster and guide the next generation of restoration ecologists, you will also be exposed to innovative and emerging research that is taking place at universities around the world.

If you are interested in serving as a judge, please fill out the volunteer application by 1 September 2023. Notification of acceptance will be provided by 20 September 2023.
